The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2007 and offers undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering with intake capacity of 120. Mechanical Engineering is one of the major activities in the engineering profession and its principles are involved in the design, study, development and construction of nearly all of the physical devices and systems. Continued research and development have led to better machines and processes helping the mankind.
The department has qualified faculty who has highly devoted to teach as well as motivate the students for their development in all the fields. The department is also deputing the staff members for higher studies and use to encourage the staff members to attain the various workshops, seminars, conferences to update themselves with present and future technology.
For the development of overall personality of the students the department has established “Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA)”. The department has total 15 Laboratories with all the required equipments. The department has been conducting a training program on CATIA – V5 for the Second Year students every year. The department has various softwares like CATIA V5R19, IntelliCAD, Automation Studio, GATE software
