Newsletter Inauguration
Name of departmental e-paper is Interface. Basic theme of this event was to make students aware about some technical and non-technical things which are written by either students or faculties of our department.This paper consists of scientists information, Google working. It also includes games, puzzles. This departmental e-paper helps students to do updating about day to day things.
Teachers Day
On 6th Sep, 2011, Students of IT Department have taken an opportunity to show their gratitude to their teachers. Students started this ceremony with Goddess Saraswati & Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan frame hallowing. They have paid their respect and warm thanks to their teachers by giving speeches. Besides this, they have celebrated this ceremony by presenting colorful flowers and gifts to the teachers as tokens of love and admiration.
Engineers Day
On 15th Sep, 2011, Students of IT Department have taken an opportunity to show their gratitude to Sir M. Visvesvaraya. Students started this ceremony with Goddess Saraswati & Sir M. Visvesvaraya frame hallowing. Faculties and students have shown their respect and warm thanks to Sir M. Visvesvaraya by giving speeches on this precious event.
Mock Technical Interviews by IT Professionals
In today’s IT industry, there are few essential technical and non-technical qualities, which are desirable from any fresher, who is looking for an opportunity to make career in the IT sector. To become technically sound is one of the most essential quality that fresher must need to perceive to become the successful IT professional during his / her residency in IT Company.
By keeping the above fact in mind and to provide students with wonderful opportunities in
IT industry, Department of IT has taken initiative to conduct such a “Mock Technical Interviews by IT Professionals” – for Third Year IT Students under the Information Technology Student Association (ITSA) event. Basic theme of this event was to make students aware about, How technical interview is conducted for fresher? , What is the minimum benchmark that fresher should posses before appearing for technical interview panel? And to have a brief idea about IT industry work culture.
